Regional Sales Executive - Dublin

We are currently recruiting a Regional Sales Executive working as part of the Sales Team. The
Regional Sales role offers candidates an exciting opportunity to join a winning team in a dynamic
and exciting sector. Successful candidates will be field based and responsible for business
development in their own assigned region. The role offers great development potential for highly
motivated self starters who thrive in a fast paced, competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for delivering new business revenue targets within the assigned region.
  • Responding professionally to all sales enquiries within the region.
  • Identifying & profiling potential new customers and converting leads into new business.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential new business within a CRM platform.
  • Build a thorough knowledge of the region including competitor activity networking opportunities, existing customer base & depot capabilities.
  • Responsible for managing a positive working relationship with their depot teams and promoting sustainable business development in their area.
  • Reporting & corresponding with all relevant departments needed to support the sales process and new business activation.
  • Report & present on regional sales activity.
  • Managing the activation and handover of new business after initial trading period.

Requirement

  • Sales experience is essential for this role.
  • Industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Third level education preferred.
  • Experience selling services in B2B setting is advantageous.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platform is advantageous but not essential.
  • High level of communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills programs.
  • Ambitious self-starter with the confidence and drive to proactively manage their own schedule and time, as well as creating their own opportunities.
  • Motivated by a competitive target driven environment.
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence and access to own car for daily field activity.

Auditor

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records,   reports, operating   practices within depots across Ireland. 
  • Verify findings by comparing results to documentation. 
  • Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings. 
  • Communicate audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with auditees. 
  • Comply with legal/licensing/ISO requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising operating information and trends. 
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
  • Perform and maintain control of the full audit cycle which includes reliability, compliance with applicable regulations & directives and risk management.
  • Attend meetings with auditees in order to understand the way their business operates. 
  • Travel to various depots and meet the relevant company staff while also obtaining the requisite information. 
  • Provide advice to staff and management; this is often achieved through the use of training sessions and courses. 
  • Research and assess the overall performance of risk management processes and using software to record the results.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired.
  • Ability to analyse reports and make decisions and recommendations based on best practice and industry standards.
  • Have strong planning, organising and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. 
  • Ability to adapt and change schedules to meet the demands of the business.
  • Proven strong communication skills with stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic and exemplary integrity is essential.
  • Excellent report writing, oral, written and communication skills are essential in order to deliver accurate findings.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office in particular Excel and Word. 
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence and access to own car for daily field activity.

HGV Driver - Fixed Term Contract

We are currently inviting applications for Drivers to join our Linehaul team in Athlone. The main focus of the role is on a shift rotation cycle, the collection and delivery of freight to or from any of our 35 depots in Ireland and/or directly from our customer sites in Ireland to allow us to efficiently meet the needs of the business. This is a 6 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Collection and delivery of freight to any of our DPD depots on the island of Ireland
  • Responsible for loading and unloading freight at DPD depots
  • Responsible for the collection of freight from any of our customers sites
  • Act professionally and build excellent customer relationships
  • Responsible for the maintenance and care of your vehicle. Completing daily walk around checks on your vehicle and load
  • Adopt safe driving conduct in conjunction with established rules of the road
  • Fully adhere to all RSA requirements

Requirements

  • Must hold a full clean EC driving license
  • 2 years Artic driving experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Experience with multi-drop deliveries is an advantage 
  • Tail lift and pallet truck experience is also an advantage
  • Must have good knowledge of Irish Roads
  • Must be willing to drive anywhere around Ireland/ Northern Ireland and be flexible
  • Must have a valid CPC with all modules completed and up to date
  • Must have a Digital Tachograph card
  • Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work set deadlines
  • Display excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player with ability to work on own initiative
  • Possess good problem solving skills
  • Good written, oral and communication skills
  • Flexibility with regard to working hours is essential
  • Must be willing to work across night and day operations including weekends
  • Have demonstrated ability in driving projects, both independently and collaboratively
