About the Company:
DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 36 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a state of the art central sorting hub in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
Purpose of the role:
The Hamper Picker and Packer will be responsible for handling all goods in the warehouse, from when they arrive, through careful storage, precise picking, and quality packing, right up to sending them out. This job is key to keeping accurate stock counts, making sure orders are filled correctly, and getting deliveries to customers on time. This role is a fixed term contract.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hamper Building - ensuring quality of packing is maintained
- Picking and packing customer product
- Parcel labelling/relabelling
- Goods In
- Checking goods received
- Putting away of goods on shelves
- Sorting pallets/preparing for shipping
- Inventory and stock control / cycle counting
- Warehouse housekeeping
- Flexibility with regard to working hours is essential

Experience Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
Qualifications Preferred:

Job Title: Artic Driver
Department: Linehaul
Reports to: Transport Manager
About the Company:
DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 36 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a state of the art central sorting hub in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
Purpose of the role:
The main focus of the role is on a shift rotation cycle which includes night work, the collection and delivery of freight to or from any of our 37 depots in Ireland and/or directly from our customer sites in Ireland to allow us to efficiently meet the needs of the business. The successful candidate must be available to work the night shift. This is a fixed term contract until December.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collection and delivery of freight to any of our DPD depots on the island of Ireland.
- Responsible for loading and unloading freight at DPD depots.
- Responsible for the collection of freight from any of our customer sites.
- Act professionally and build excellent customer relationships.
- Responsible for the maintenance and care of your vehicle. Completing daily walk around checks on your vehicle and load.
- Adopt safe driving conduct in conjunction with established rules of the road and local legislation.
- Fully adhere to all RSA requirements.

Experience Required:
- Must have good knowledge of Irish roads.
Experience Preferred:
- 2 years Artic driving experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries is an advantage.
- Tail lift and pallet truck experience is also advantageous
Qualifications Required:
- Must hold a full clean EC driving license.
- Must have a valid CPC with all modules completed and up to date.
- Must have Digital Tachograph card
Skills Required:
- Possess good problem solving skills.
- Good written, oral and communication skills.
- Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work to set deadlines.
- Display excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Be a team player with ability to work on own initiative.
- Must be willing to work across night operations including weekends.
- Have demonstrable ability in driving projects, both independently and collaboratively
- Must be willing to drive anywhere around Ireland/NI and be flexible.
